Project summary
Actuate's AI-powered video analytics system was proven in the U.S. but couldn't serve European customers without GDPR-compliant infrastructure in the EU. Tech 42 replicated their entire system in AWS Ireland, using ECS, EKS, SQS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Route53. The deployment included signal ingestion, core AI functionality, billing systems, alert monitoring, and legacy application migration. Infrastructure as Code with Terraform ensured repeatability. All communications used SSL/TLS encryption. The team helped Actuate identify and document gaps in their existing stack, then built the architecture to close them. Their system not includes a production-ready European deployment that maintains performance and reliability while meeting data residency requirements. Actuate is now positioned to pilot customers in Europe with confidence.
