Project summary
Bild Engineering needed to automate component reference extraction and dependency mapping across their engineering documentation. Tech 42 built an end-to-end document processing pipeline on AWS Bedrock, Lambda, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch. The system extracts text from multiple file formats and ingests documents into OpenSearch. Generative AI powered by Claude and Nova then automatically extracts component references, specifications, and relationships from the documents. The pipeline enables instant change impact analysis, giving Bild Engineering complete visibility into component dependencies. The solution reduces manual oversight, accelerates regulatory approvals, and maintains full traceability across their document ecosystem. The work established a foundation for scaling this capability across their platform.
