Project summary
HealthCorum needed to help patients find and compare healthcare providers through conversation instead of forms. Their existing agent was a linear proof-of-concept. Tech 42 rebuilt it as a conversational AI agent on AWS with LangGraph conditional routing across 9 conversation flow patterns. The agent gathers patient location, insurance network, specialty, and procedure criteria as the conversation unfolds, then runs multi-step API orchestration against HealthCorum provider search endpoints. A comparison engine evaluates up to three providers at once using parallel API calls. It aggregates quality scores for overall, effectiveness, appropriateness, and cost efficiency, adds procedure experience and volume metrics, and analyzes pricing variation and network status. The agent then generates a natural language narrative that highlights trade-offs and key differentiators. Tech 42 delivered the full infrastructure as Terraform code with architecture diagrams and deployment instructions.
